Kaylie
I'm Kaylie, a late diagnosed high functioning dyslexic adhd'er.
I was diagnosed with dyslexia in my 20s following an offhand comment by a colleague it pulled a thread and started a train of thought that may explain my challenges with reading and written work (including getting through school at times feeling like I was on a wing and prayer). It wasn't until I was in my mid 30s that I was diagnosed with ADHD.
I have curated a career in empowering the disempowered to advocate for themselves.
I do this by ulitising coaching techniques to increase self awareness and confidence to be able to articulate the individuals thoughts/challenges and possible solutions.
I have vast experience both with young people (mainly in care) and professionals.
I have vast experience both with young people (mainly in care) and professionals.
I endeavour to create a non judgemental, safe environment to explore the challenges the coachee is facing. I use a range of techniques and creative approaches selected to the individual to empower them coachee to find solutions that work for them.
When working as an advocate I agree with the client signals that we can use to indicate certain things, ask for clarity and ensure that the persons voice is heard.
Outside of coaching I am an avid equestrian, mountain biker, paddle boarder and gig lover.
