The best part about the hangout is the virtual world we get to play in! It's like a game, and we can solve puzzles together. I don’t feel alone because there are other kids who understand what it’s like to have trouble with reading or maths. It makes me feel like I’m not the only one."

"I love the virtual world! We get to work together to unlock levels and explore new areas. It makes me feel like I’m really good at something, and when we all help each other, I feel proud of myself. I’ve started to believe in myself more after every session."

"The gaming part made me feel better about myself. I got to explore the world and work on things I struggle with, but in a way that felt fun and not stressful. Everyone there understood me, and it was amazing to meet others who also have dyslexia or dyscalculia. We really help each other feel stronger."

"The game is super fun! It’s not like boring homework. I get to do challenges, and when I get things right, I feel awesome! It’s cool because I can take my time and there’s no rush, and I know everyone else is going through the same struggles with reading and maths."

"I love playing in the game! It’s like we’re on an adventure, but we’re also learning. I don’t feel nervous when I make a mistake, because everyone is so nice, and we’re all learning together. The other kids really get how I feel."

"The gaming world is one of my favourite parts. We work together, and I get to try things out without worrying if I get it wrong. It made me feel so much more confident. I didn’t know there were other kids who had dyslexia or dyscalculia too, so it felt nice to not be alone anymore. I’ve started feeling more proud of what I can do."
